As CEO of Mediabrands Greater China Melinda is responsible for leading the network offering across China’s mainland, Hong Kong SAR and Taiwan region. Fully leveraging all the Mediabrands agencies and functions as a future facing media and communications partner to its clients’ business. With 20 years industry experience across the Greater China region, Melinda is a modern thinker with a strong advertising and digital marketing background. Having successfully led Edelman’s transformation from a PR agency into an integrated business solutions partner, Melinda drew upon her prior experience re-designing the Ogilvy advertising and brand content business model in China, in addition to previous senior leadership roles across Arcade and AKQA. Melinda specialises in cultural and organisational transformation using her craft in the consulting space to help companies elevate their strategic relationship with clients.
As CFO of Mediabrands Greater China, Crystal is responsible for providing financial stewardship across the Mediabrands network of agencies in China’s mainland, Hong Kong SAR and Taiwan region; working in close partnership with Greater China CEO Melinda Po. With almost 30 years financial expertise under her belt, Crystal was CFO for investment management company Withinlink before joining Mediabrands. She enjoys a wealth of direct industry experience having worked for a number of years across the Dentsu Aegis network and WPP Group in China, providing senior financial leadership including M&A and integration.
As CEO of UM Greater China, Ben is responsible for leading the Greater China team to provide clients with best-in-class integrated offerings across media, creative and consulting to help them navigate the evolving media ecosystem, and to accelerate digital transformation for UM to futureproof growth in the Greater China market. With 20 years’ experience in media & advertising, and a background spanning communications planning, media trading, and marketing & business consulting, across all aspects of the marketing funnel from brand to performance, Ben has excelled in matching UM’s data driven capabilities with clients’ growth ambitions. Passionate about tailoring agency capabilities to client challenges/opportunities, he is a visionary consultant for senior marketing stakeholders across the APAC region.
As Initiative China CEO, Sharon leverages her strength in integrating technology, data and communication, and passion in driving a consumer-centered offerings for clients, with her unique approach of building trust and rapport among all stakeholders in fueling growth. With extensive experience spanning media, digital and creative agencies in the Greater China region, Sharon has a proven track record of exploring the convergence of technology, data and communication, and utilizing innovative approaches to drive digital transformation and growth for clients. In addition, Sharon is a firm believer in leading as a Coach. She is a Certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Coach and a proponent of leveraging leadership to inspire and influence others, thereby amplifying impact and revolutionizing organizational performance.
