Jacky Tang
Chief Operating Officer, Mediabrands China
Jacky is Chief Operating Officer of Mediabrands China, and is responsible for leading the agency’s operations, including media buying & negotiation strategies. He has 26 years’ experience in the advertising and media industry and has been with IPG for the last 11 years. Prior to his Chief Operating Officer role, he headed Magna, the trading and negotiation arm under Mediabrands. Jacky has worked on a large portfolio over the years, notably Coca-Cola (client-side), Unilever, Suntory, VW, SONY, ExxonMobil, Johnson & Johnson, Carlsberg and LEGO. Jacky graduated from East China Normal University in 1992, majoring in Psychology and worked as a lecturer in the university for two years.
