    As CEO of Mediabrands Greater China Melinda is responsible for leading the network offering across China’s mainland, Hong Kong SAR and Taiwan region. Fully leveraging all the Mediabrands agencies and functions as a future facing media and communications partner to its clients’ business. With 20 years industry experience across the Greater China region, Melinda is a modern thinker with a strong advertising and digital marketing background. Having successfully led Edelman’s transformation from a PR agency into an integrated business solutions partner, Melinda drew upon her prior experience re-designing the Ogilvy advertising and brand content business model in China, in addition to previous senior leadership roles across Arcade and AKQA. Melinda specialises in cultural and organisational transformation using her craft in the consulting space to help companies elevate their strategic relationship with clients.

    Jacky Tang

    Chief Operating Officer, Mediabrands China

    Jacky is Chief Operating Officer of Mediabrands China, and is responsible for leading the agency’s operations, including media buying & negotiation strategies. He has 26 years’ experience in the advertising and media industry and has been with IPG for the last 11 years. Prior to his Chief Operating Officer role, he headed Magna, the trading and negotiation arm under Mediabrands. Jacky has worked on a large portfolio over the years, notably Coca-Cola (client-side), Unilever, Suntory, VW, SONY, ExxonMobil, Johnson & Johnson, Carlsberg and LEGO. Jacky graduated from East China Normal University in 1992, majoring in Psychology and worked as a lecturer in the university for two years.

    Lawrence is CEO of UM China and is responsible for the overall business operations. His mission is to drive transformation and localization of the Futureproof proposition in China. He is a Chinese Canadian who has worked across North America and Greater China for over 21 years. His experience spans across leading 4A agency groups, start-ups and media platforms to pioneer digital media transformation from digital advertising to ad tech to data-driven AI. He has productized, operationalized, evangelized and integrated new digital media innovations successfully into global brands marketing strategy. He is an accomplished digital marketer with multiple accolades including Campaign Asia Digital A List in 2014, 2016 and 2018, the co-chair at the Mobile Marketing Assoc. China in 2017 and committee lead on the Asian Digital Marketing Assoc.

He has worked collaboratively with clients from different disciplines and helped them seize opportunities presented by emerging AdTech and MarTech and avoid risks. As a seasoned tech & data executive with broad experience in brand and performance marketing, Jonathan has been exploring how to use technologies creatively to improve business performance. He was recognized by Campaign Asia as 40 under 40 for his contribution to championing change and progress in the APAC region.
