MEDIABRANDS APPOINT HEAD OF PERFORMANCE CHINA

Mediabrands, the media and marketing solutions division of Interpublic Group (NYSE: IPG), have announced the appointment of Angela Zou as Head of Performance China to lead the Performance Hub, which integrates the capabilities and offerings of Reprise and MBCS (Mediabrands Content Studio), including E-commerce, Social, Search, Content and KOL to drive growth for clients across the Mediabrands network in China.

With a wealth of experience across all facets of integrated digital marketing, Angela has built her industry credentials in PHD, Carat, Ogilvy and Edelman, and has a proven track record of providing performance-driven solutions and consultancy for ABI, ALDI, MHD, Philips, H&M, Unilever, Charlotte Tilbury, etc. With entrepreneurial leadership, she has led the teams in the previous companies to win multiple ecommerce-based new business. In addition, she has solid experience in helping overseas brands enter China market via e-commerce and successfully launched ALDI and Charlotte Tilbury’s Tmall cross-border stores.

As Head of Performance China, Angela will be tasked with leading the Performance Hub with integrated Reprise and MBCS’ strengths to develop holistic performance products and solutions, empowered by Acxiom and Kinesso’s data and technology capabilities, to drive more synergy across the network and grow business with efficiency and effectiveness.

Angela will be based in Shanghai and report to Melinda Po, CEO Mediabrands Greater China. Her appointment is effective immediately.
